Farming, crabbing and swimming in South Carolina...
24 August to 06 September: Two beautiful weeks wwoofing near Charleston, South Carolina. An amazing farm run by Renee, growing organic vegetables and raising chicken, turkey, sheep, rabbits and quails. With a dog, two cats, a donkey and a swimming pool on top of that...no need to say that we all had a hard time leaving the place!!
Some of the most charismatic figures of the place...LUCIIIIIIIIIIEEEEEEE!
KIKI, the most beautiful donkey I have ever seen :-)
RIKI, the nicest rooster who waits every evening at the same spot for you to come and put him to bed.
PIGEON, named by Theotime: so soft and quiet, cuddling him was definitely a nice way to start the day!
Working hard in the garden: from youngest to oldest: Theotime, 5 years-old to Abe, Renee's father, 95 years-old!
Then, once the work is done, enjoying the good life in the south: the swimming pool, Abe's bike...
Swimming at Beachwalker park
Visiting the beautiful city of Charleston
Crabbing near the house, on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, under Renee and Steven's kind supervision :-)
They were EXCELLENT guides as we actually got A LOT of crabs!
07 September: Our very last stop in the USA: Titusville. As it was hard to leave the farm, we had to find something really worth the drive for our last day in USA. Meeting the manatees in Titusville was totally amazing. A lot of them, big and small, coming near the shore and showing all kinds of behaviors...so curious that they even came to touch our feet at the pier.
