Through the desert...

The drive through the desert...that we had imagined hot, long and boring, has been surprising and interesting in many aspects. We didn't see the time going at the end!

01 August: At the doorstep from Death Valley, crazy Las Vegas with the lights, the casinos, all sorts of things to see, all kinds of people to observe and, for us, the worst night so far in the motorhome! We had planned to sleep on a parking lot, thinking the heat would go down through the night...but it didn't. A sleepless night for most of us...and an early start to escape the heat.

The desert emptiness...a good way to recover from our night in Las Vegas! Visiting a meteor crater, ruins from an Indian village and the Petrified Forest National Park.
